2025-2026 season overview

The Aspire Program is the perfect next step for skaters who have completed the Basic Skills program and are ready to explore the exciting world of figure skating. Designed for skaters entering or already in Free Skate levels, Aspire bridges the gap between group classes and full U.S. Figure Skating membership.

Aspire provides a fun, affordable, and supportive introduction to the sport of figure skating—on and off the ice.

Each 6 week session includes

  • (6) 30 minute small group clinic instructions with weekly specialty classes offered • Skate Rentals (if needed)

Aspire Bridge Program Levels

Basic 3: Beginning stroking, half-swizzle pumps on a circle, backwards one-foot glides, and backwards stops are started.


Basic 4: Forward inside and outside edges, backwards half swizzle pumps and the beginning of a two-foot spin are introduced.


Basic 5: Backwards inside and outside edges, backwards crossovers, and forward outside three-turns are taught.


Basic 6: Forward inside three-turns, backwards stroking, T-stops, bunny hops, and spirals are covered.


Pre-Free Skate: Landing position, forward inside mohawks, waltz jumps, and mazurkas are instilled.


Free Skate 1: Instruction includes forward power stroking, backwards outside three- turns, half flip jump and toe loops.


Free Skate 2: Covers half lutz jumps, salchows, beginning backspins and backwards three-turns.


Free Skate 3: Contains Mohawk/crossover sequence, waltz three-turns, loop jumps, and jump combinations.


Free Skate 4: Incorporates flip jumps, half loop jumps, sit spins, and power three-turns.


Free Skate 5: Lutz jumps, waltz jump-loop jump combination, camel spins and other foot work are included.
